Huntington Police Blotter: Man Breaks Into Commack Home

He and someone else burglarized the home and stole property from it, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from May 9 through May 15.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Travis Dennis, 32, of Bay Shore, drove a 2001 Jeep in Huntington Station with a license that had been suspended multiple times, police said. Dennis also had a forged Pennsylvania temporary license plate, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree possession of forged instrument and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation: 10 or more suspensions on May 12.
  • Emerson Osorio-Garrido, 21, of Greenlawn, entered a Marvin Lane home in Commack through a basement window with someone else around 5:15 p.m. March 12, police said. He stole property from the homeowner before fleeing, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary: dwelling on May 12.
