Huntington Police Blotter: Penholder Thrown At ATM Machine Screen
The ATM, belonging to Jovia Financial Credit Union, sustained more than $1,000 worth of damage, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from June 20 through June 26.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Mauricio Diaz, 39, of Huntington Station, threw a penholder at an ATM machine's screen, causing more than $1,000 in damage, at 9:40 p.m. June 17, police said. The ATM belonged to Jovia Financial Credit Union at 356 New York Ave., Huntington, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief: property damage of more than $250 on June 25.
- Sakena Robinson, 34, of Wyandanch, stole a shoebox containing cash from a car on Foxmeadow Drive in Dix Hills around 9:30 p.m. May 30, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on June 22.
