Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Steals $3,500 Worth Of Handbags

ALSO: A man damaged a woman's car on the Long Island Expressway by breaking a window and denting a door, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from April 18 through April 24.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Taquile Hamilton, 24, of Huntington Station, kicked in the entry door of an attached garage at a home on Longfellow Drive in Huntington Station at 1 a.m. March 29, police said. Hamilton damaged the door frame, police said. He left after he was confronted by the homeowner, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary: dwelling on April 24.
  • Candice DrewMcCullough, 34, of Uniondale, stole two handbags, worth a total of roughly $3,500, from Saks Fifth Avenue at Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington on April 14, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on April 18.
  • Adam Citak, 45, of Centereach, punched and broke the driver's side window of a woman's 2019 Nissan Altima at 4:20 p.m. April 9 near exit 49 of the Long Island Expressway in Melville, police said. Citak also kneed the driver's door, causing a dent, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief on April 18.
