Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Steals 3 Purses From Mall

ALSO: A man is accused of stealing a credit card, cash and a gift card in the span of a few days, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from June 6 through June 12.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Shamel Robinson, 24, of Huntington Station, tried to steal property from a 2011 Honda in Huntington Station at 12:30 a.m. June 9, police said. He stole a Bank of America credit card from a 2005 Ford in the parking lot of LA Fitness in Huntington Station at 5:10 p.m. June 9, police said. Robinson stole cash and a gift card from an Acura in Huntington Station around 1:50 a.m. June 11, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: possession of credit card, fourth-degree grand larceny: credit card, and two counts of petty larceny on June 12.
  • Eric Hults, 31, of Huntington, used a BB gun to shoot out 13 panels of someone's glass windows, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief: property more than $250 on June 11.
  • Ebony Watts, 38, of Garden City, stole three Saint Laurent purses from Saks Fifth Avenue at Walt Whitman Shops, police said. She was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on June 11.
