Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Stole Someone Else's Identity

The woman, who is from Huntington Station, pretended to be someone else and used a credit card in 2018, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from April 11 through April 17.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • James Gustam, 35, of Deer Park, dented a 2019 Mercedes Benz by kicking the front passenger-side door at a parking lot on Broadhollow Road, Melville, at 2:50 p.m. April 5, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief on April 16.
  • Patricia Sales, 45, of Huntington Station, assumed the identity of another person by presenting herself as the other person between Sept. 28, 2018 and Nov. 5, 2018, police said. Sales used a Bank of America credit card, police said. She was arrested and charged with first-degree identity theft: obtain goods on April 14.
