Huntington Station Resident Joins Farmingdale State College Faculty

Maria Anderson, a resident of Huntington Station, has joined the faculty of Farmingdale State College as assistant professor of psychology.

Dr. Anderson joins Farmingdale’s School of Arts & Sciences out of Stony Brook University, where she earned her PhD in Integrative Neuroscience, MA in Psychology, and BA in Psychology/Italian Language and Literature.

Dr. Anderson’s professional affiliations include membership in the Alzheimer’s Association and the Society for Neuroscience. She has been published in numerous professional journals, and is doing research on the impacts that various lifestyle factors have on Alzheimer’s disease.
