Huntington Village Evening Refuse Collection Pilot Program

Important information on a trash and recycling collection pilot program starting May 24 for our Huntington Village municipal evening trash pickup routes only.

This pilot program DOES NOT apply to any properties in Huntington Village on the Monday/Thursday morning trash collection route.

The Department of Waste Management is implementing a pilot program to start municipal evening trash collection at 3:30 pm rather than the current 4 pm start. This change will improve the outdoor dining experience and keep our refuse trucks off most streets during prime outdoor dining hours. From Monday, May 24th through Saturday, September 4th, businesses and residents on the Huntington Village late afternoon trash pickup schedule must place trash curbside between 3pm and 3:30pm Monday through Saturday.

Corrugated cardboard will now be collected Monday through Friday at approximately 10:30am for businesses and residents on the Huntington Village late afternoon trash pickup schedule. Please place cardboard curbside between 10am and 10:30am Monday through Friday. Do not place cardboard curbside overnight. There will be no Saturday collection for corrugated cardboard.
