HUNTINGTON, NY — Threes Brewing, a Brooklyn-based craft brewery, has expanded into Huntington. The new outpost marks the first on Long Island and the fourth store overall.

The outpost opened at 20 Clinton Ave. on Dec. 31; near where CEO and co-founder Josh Stylman grew up in Melville.

Threes Brewing Huntington is temporarily focusing on to-go business, which includes walk-in and web-based pickup as well as delivery across Long Island. The outpost aims to open a 14-seat indoor and outdoor drinking space by spring. Brooklyn will remain the brewing space, though Threes Brewing beer will be routinely delivered to Huntington.

"The idea is that [Huntington] is both a shop as well as a small bar," Stylman told Patch. "It's kind of like a hub-and-spoke model."

The expansion onto Long Island actually happened as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Stylman.
