IDA Tax Breaks Granted For Huntington Station Apartment Complex
An application for over $700K in tax breaks for the proposed Northridge Square complex near the train station was approved last week.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY—An application from apartment complex developer Blue & Gold Holdings for Suffolk County IDA tax breaks was approved last week. The proposal is for Northridge Square, a proposed 16-unit apartment building on New York Ave. near the LIRR train station.
The Suffolk IDA board approved the proposal after an earlier vote failed to garner enough votes. The project will receive over $700,000 in tax breaks over 15 years.
The two-story apartment complex will consist of one-bedroom apartments, with three units priced to be affordable. Retail space will be created on the first floor.
