Rain is expected to fall late Friday night and into Saturday, putting a damper on outdoor plans you may have for the weekend.

"The chance of showers will increase with showers becoming likely overnight into Saturday morning, especially along the coast," the National Weather Service says. "A few thunderstorms are possible during this time as well. Unsettled conditions will continue through much of the day on Saturday before the area begins to dry out Saturday night."
Things should be cleared up by Sunday, though, with sunny skies expected to bring a bright ending to the weekend.

Showers likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 68. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Saturday
A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Saturday Night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind 6 to 8 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sunday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Northwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
