Robert Murphy, who was arrested in February on charges of threatening a town employee, is due in court Oct. 30.
Police said the Huntington man had gone to Town Hall and threatened a female town employee in a dispute over parking tickets. Murphy was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for evaluation and released.
Upon release, Second Squad detectives charged Murphy with making a terroristic threat, a class D felony.
He is scheduled to appear in Suffolk First District Court in Central Islip.
