Man Dies In 4-Car Huntington Crash: Police
The man's car crashed into one vehicle before it kept going and struck two more cars, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — A man died in a four-car crash in Huntington on Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
Mark Bernzweig, 50, of Huntington, was driving a 2004 Honda Accord westbound on Jericho Turnpike when he collided with a 2018 Lexus RX350 being driven by Denise O’Grady, 51, of Huntington, who was trying to make a left turn onto Jericho Turnpike from southbound Werner Road at approximately 5 p.m., police said.
Bernzweig's Honda continued westbound on Jericho Turnpike where it struck a 2013 Nissan Rogue being driven by Ester Lopez-Dominguez, 26, of Huntington, and a 2012 Nissan Versa being driven by Alexis Selmar, 23, of Huntington, police said. Lopez-Dominguez and Selmar were stopped eastbound on Jericho Turnpike, waiting at a light at Warner Road, police said.

Bernzweig died at Huntington Hospital, police said. He might have suffered a medical emergency before the crash, detectives said.
Selmar suffered injuries that are not life threatening, while O'Grady and Lopez-Dominguez were not injured, police said.
