Man Recorded Woman In South Huntington Mall Fitting Room: Police
A man reached under the wall from an adjacent fitting room and recorded a woman with his cell phone, police say.
SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said illegally recorded a woman while she was in a fitting room at a store at Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington.
A woman was in the fitting room at Urban Outfitters when a man reached under the wall from a neighboring fitting room and recorded her with his cell phone around 3:35 p.m. May 1, police said. He is wanted for unlawful surveillance.
Police asked anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
