McCarthy, Alanna Marie, 18, of Huntington Station, passed away on on Thursday, Dec. 10.

We celebrate the life of a wonderful daughter “Pumpkin Pie” to mom Darlene O’Marra and “Cookie Girl” to dad Kevin McCarthy.

Loving granddaughter to Lillian McCarthy, the late Dolores & Richard “Pop Pop” O’Marra and Charles “Buddy” McCarthy. Cherished and loving niece to Sharon & Hank McComb and Steven & Mary O’Marra. Loving cousin to Clifton, Dolores and Bryan McComb. Cherished and loving “daughter” of Steve & Trish Cutillo and “sister” of John, Alessia and Stevie Michelle. Devoted and loving best friend to Paige & Sean and many other great friends. Beloved mother to Fooky, Binky, Charli, Dyva, Skipper & Kahlua and the late Waldo, Ziggy and Waffles.

Alanna accomplished her greatest desire of owning her own horse Fooky. A special thank you to her trainers and family from GEC; Mariah, Sam, Hanny, Cassie and special friend Indy.

In Alanna’s celebration of life, please refrain from wearing black and always keep happiness, just the way she would want it.

Visitation Monday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, located at 934 New York Ave., in Huntington Station.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: Maurer Foundation or AHRC in Alanna’s name would be greatly appreciated.
