Obituary: Jacklyn Henderson 'Lived As If Every Day Was Her Last'

She died tragically in Huntington on Friday.

Jacklyn Michele Henderson, 27, of Aptos, Calif., died tragically on Friday, July 14, 2017.

She was a graduate of Oyster Bay High School, a biology teacher and cross country coach at North Monterey County High School in Castroville, CA.

Beautiful person, devoted teacher, dedicated athlete, world traveler, lived as if every day was her last.

Beloved daughter of Grace E. Papaccio and her husband Thomas, and Jason Henderson and his wife Melissa. Loving sister of Kyle, Richard, Julia, Greyson, Willow and Marissa. Cherished granddaughter of Richard & Julia Henderson.

Reposing will take place at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, located at 5 Laurel Ave. in Northport, on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, located at 400 Main St. in Huntington. Burial will take place at Huntington Rural Cemetery.
