Pedestrian Seriously Hurt In Greenlawn Crash
The woman was airlifted to a hospital on Thursday afternoon.
A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Greenlawn on Thursday afternoon.
According to Suffolk Police, a 26-year-old woman was driving a 2013 Hyundai eastbound on Healy Street when she struck a 33-year-old woman at 2:05 p.m.
Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded to the scene and transported the woman to a landing zone at Maplewood School, located at 19 School Lane in Huntington Station. Suffolk County Police helicopter airlifted her to Stony Brook Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
