Simple Plan And State Champs To Play In Huntington

HUNTINGTON, NY — The Paramount Theatre in Huntington will welcome Simple Plan and State Champs as they tour across the United States. Tickets are on sale now for their Oct. 31 show.

Simple Plan, of Montreal, was nominated for numerous Canadian Juno Awards, winning the 2006 Juno Fan Choice Award. The quintet is made up of former high school friends, with Pierre Bouvier on vocals, Sebastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco playing guitar, Chuck Comeau on drums, and David Desrosiers on the bass. Their first studio album, "No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls," was released in 2002 — followed by four more albums with the latest, "Taking One for the Team," released in 2016.

Simple Plan loves taking its high-energy pop punk on the road, recently tweeting, "We can’t wait to hang with you it's gonna be rad!"

State Champs will bring its own unique sound to the tour. Getting its start in 2010, it was the band's second studio album, "Around the World and Back," that lead to its breakthrough. The album made it to No. 30 on the Billboard Top 200. With a heavy influence of Blink 182 and Sum 42, State Champs gained a new generation of pop punk fans.

We The Kings will join Simple Plan and State Champs. Three of the biggest names in pop punk, the trio is coming together to bring Huntington an exciting night of music.

Simple Plan and State Champs, along with We The Kings, will perform in Huntington on Oct. 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre.
