Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Reopening of Dix Hills Store

Remodeled Store Features Fresh New Look, Refreshed Produce, Deli, Bakery and Baby Departments, More Freshly Prepared Foods for Easy Meals

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, has unveiled its newly remodeled store in Dix Hills (1100 NY-25).

The store, which opened its doors in 2006, is now noticeably brighter and more modern. The store not only has a new look, but it also has new features that are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier.

  • Stop & Shop Pickup - orders placed online at stopandshop.com can be picked up at the store from the comfort of your own car while a store associate delivers your order right to your trunk
  • Enhanced assortment of grab-and-go and easy meal solutions including a new wing bar featuring an array of chicken wings and tenders made fresh in-store daily
  • A new baby department that’s a one-stop-shop for all things for your little one
  • Expanded beer selection featuring local favorites
  • An updated deli department that features an expanded assortment of offerings
  • A refreshed bakery department complete with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats
  • Expanded produce department offering more ways to eat healthy
  • Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” said Tony Marazzo, Store Manager of Stop & Shop Dix Hills. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to what matters most.”

To celebrate the remodeled store, Stop & Shop donated $1,000 in gift cards to the Family Service League of Huntington to help fight food insecurity in the community. Shoppers also enjoyed a weekend of giveaways and samples.
