HUNTINGTON, NY — The bands Torche and Motion City Soundtrack both recently announced they are bringing their jamming ways to the Paramount Theater in Huntington.
Torche, a heavy metal band from Miami, is set to rock the Paramount Theater stage for one night July 13. The band will be accompanied by fellow heavy metal group Barones.
Torche's tour will start in Tampa Bay, Florida, on July 8 and end in November in Austin, Texas. The band's new album Admission comes out July 12 and is expected to be a major feature of the upcoming tour, according to the heavy metal blog Invisible Oranges.

Fans of Motion City Soundtrack will, however, have to wait a little longer to see the American rock band grace the stage of the Paramount Theater. The group is set to come to Huntington for their "Don't Call It A Comeback Tour" on Jan. 7.
The name of the tour is in reference to the fact that the group has been on a three-year hiatus, and are returning to join forces for this 21-city jaunt, starting on Dec. 31, in Chicago.
