Trees Fall Near Town Of Huntington Recycling Center: Photos
The trees fell due to Tropical Storm Isaias.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The entrance to the Town of Huntington Recycling Center and its Hazmat building were blocked Tuesday when trees fell due to Tropical Storm Isaias, according to Town officials. The facility is at 495 New York Ave., Huntington.



Tropical Storm Isaias knocked out power to roughly 100,000 PSEG Long Island customers as of Tuesday afternoon, and a 78 mph wind gust was recorded at Republic Airport in Farmingdale at 1:53 p.m.
