After spending her summer (with mom’s help) traveling to all six iconic cultural institutions on the Hunt Around Huntington map, young Gabrielle Galindez emerged victorious! Chosen from a drawing of all winning entries, Gabrielle has won a free one-year membership for her family to each of the institutions: The Whaling Museum & Education Center, The Firehouse Museum of Cold Spring Harbor, The Heckscher Museum of Art, The Huntington Historical Society, The Northport Historical Society, and the Walt Whitman Birthplace.
Hunt Around Huntington is in its third year, sending contestants throughout the Town of Huntington on a scavenger hunt to find objects from each institution listed. By Labor Day, the maps are collected and one winner is chosen at random.
