3 Local Students Nab Scholarships
SUNY Potsdam has recognized these students for their academic achievements.
Three area students have been awarded scholarships from SUNY Potsdam.
- Elizabeth Mirandi of Miller Place, who is majoring in music performance was awarded the SUNY Potsdam Freshman Scholarship.
- Frederick Volz of Rocky Point, who is majoring in music education was awarded the SUNY Potsdam Freshman Scholarship.
- Christopher Willig of Miller Place, whose major is computer science was awarded the Haden Land Endowed Internship.
Last year, SUNY Potsdam awarded $2,341,095 in scholarships to 990 students.
