  1. Peggy Spellman Hoey has the full story on the unveiling of the statue of late U.S. Army medic PFC Joseph Dwyer in Veterans Memorial Park in Rocky Point. He was from Mount Sinai and died in 2008 after battling post-traumatic stress disorder.   2. Michael DeSantis reports that a Middle Island man was arrested for a stabbing at Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown on Wednesday, according to Suffolk police. Brian O'Connor, 62, got into an argument and fight with another man at a campground at the park and stabbed a 60-year-old man, who survived. (Patch)
