Eleven Rocky Point Athletes Make College Choices

Students honored by school on signing day.

Eleven Rocky Point High School seniors from various sports signed national letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college.

The students, along with their parents, were honored during a NCAA signing day event at the school on Nov. 19.

Those who made their decisions were: Taylor Brodsky, LIU C.W. Post, field hockey; Anthony DeVito, Mercy College, lacrosse; Ashley Egerter, Hartwick College, lacrosse; Kyle Gardner, Mercy College, lacrosse; Colin Kotarski, Molloy College, lacrosse; Jillian LoManto, LIU C.W. Post, lacrosse; Shannon McGreevy, SUNY Binghamton, lacrosse; Mackenzie Shanahan, Mercyhurst University, lacrosse; Kyle Strovink, Lamar University, baseball; Vincent Toronto, Mercy College, lacrosse; and Timothy Yannucci, SUNY Brockport, lacrosse.
