Legislator Anker Announces Schedule for 2015 Summer Concert Series

Rocky Point, New York- Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker is happy to announce the schedule for the 2015 Summer Concert Series. Four concerts will be held at St. Anthony’s of Padua Parish in downtown Rocky Point. The concerts will be held during July and August and will begin at 7:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

“The concerts provide a wonderful way for families and residents to enjoy local musical performances, and I thank the Rocky Point VFW for co-sponsoring this popular event,” said Legislator Anker.

The Summer Concert schedule is as follows:

July 7- Strawberry Fields: The Ultimate Beatles Tribute

July 14- Towers Rising and Tommy Sullivan

July 21- Southbound: Long Island’s Classic and Country Rock Band

August 4- Swingtime Big Band: Authentic Swing in Living Color

August 11- Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot: The Ultimate Billy Joel Tribute

In case of a cancellation due to weather, the rain date is scheduled for August 18.
