Map: Where Are The Area's Worst Flood Spots?

Help us compile a list of the area's most flood-prone spots.

Tuesday night's flash downpour might seem like a memory at this point, but when the hard rain is a'falling, sometimes it can be near impossible to escape the wrath of Mother Nature in places where water collects.

And even after it falls, sometimes it can still collect, as one reader points out, noting that last night's rain has left him with his eighth flood since moving to the area in 2007: "I now have an indoor swimming pool."

So help us out. And help your neighbors out. We're going to put together a map of the worst flood spots from Mt. Sinai to Shoreham, and everywhere in between, to give people on the road – and maybe even some future homebuyers – a head's up in the next instance of a flash flood warning.

If you have a location, place the exact address in the comment section (or cross-roads, if it's an intersection), so we can put it on our map in the right spot.
