Memorial Fund Established for Recently Passed Gayle Buchner

A memorial fund has been created for Gayle Buchner, of Rocky Point, who died on July 11.

Buchner, who lost her battle with cancer, was the wife of Rocky Point Fire Commissioner Gene Buchner and mother of five-year-old Hope. Donations can be made to the Gayle Buchner Memorial Fund, C/O Peoples United Bank, 298 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY 11778. 

Visitation will take place at O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Miller Place Tuesday 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service and Firematic service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m.
