Miller Place Woman Charged In Assault At Local Business
Police say she threw a candle, punched and bit another woman.
MILLER PLACE, NY — A 20-year-old woman is charged with assault following a violent incident at a Miller Place business this week.
Suffolk police say Roberta Latora threw a candle at another woman’s face, punched her and bit her at a business on Route 25A Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. Police did not name the business.
The 37-year-old victim was transported to Mather Hospital for treatment of her injuries, police said.

Latora, 20, of Miller Place, was arrested and charged with third degree assault, police said.
