Police Seek Man Who Stole Over $600 from Rocky Point Carvel

Police seek public's help to identify and locate a man who stole over $600 from a Rocky Point Carvel in September.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole more than $600 from a Rocky Point Carvel on Sep. 20.

According to police, the man entered the ice cream shop, reached over the counter and took the money from the register at approximately 8:50 p.m. The man was described as Caucasian, approximately 25 to 30 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a baseball cap with a star emblem on the front. The Carvel is located at 51 Route 25A.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
