Rocky Point Field Hockey Wins County Championship
Rocky Point High School's varsity field hockey team is the 2017 Class B Suffolk County Champions.
MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT, NY - From the Rocky Point Union Free School District: Rocky Point High School’s varsity field hockey team captured the Class B Suffolk County Championship on Oct. 28 by a score of 4-0 over Miller Place. The team will play on Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m. against the Nassau County Champion.
“We are extremely excited about this win and hope this is just the beginning of our post season run,” said head coach Katie Bittner. “This team has been lead by 10 seniors who play with a tremendous amount of heart. We are thankful for a supportive community and hope to see lots of fans on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at
Newfield High School for the Long Island Championship!”
