2. A Wading River man was one of three arrested for New York State Liquor Authority violations at The Big Kahuna Bar and Grill on East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington on Saturday. Louis Tejada, 52, of Wading River, is the owner and was charged with failure to maintain business records and obstructed visibility, police said. (Patch)

3. Peggy Spellman Hoey updates us on Rocky Point's hero custodian, who was honored for his rescue. The Rocky Point School District Board of Education thanked David Cook for using the Heimlich Maneuver to save Avery Ward from choking.
