Rocky Point High's Tommy Dutton Wins State Wrestling Title

Rocky Point High School senior wrestler Tommy Dutton won his first New York State wrestling championship title during the finals at the NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championships.

During his wrestling career, Tommy has accrued more wins than any other wrestler in Long Island history, capturing six league titles and receiving All-Suffolk performer recognition six times. He finished his high school career with 261 wins.

Also during the state competition, Anthony Cirillo placed fourth, and as a team, the Eagles finished sixth out of 114 teams.
