Rocky Point Students Are Learning Virtually
High school class captured top honors at Long Island trade show.

Rocky Point High School’s Virtual Enterprise class captured top honors during the 2015 Long Island Virtual Enterprises Trade Show.
During the event, the students competed against 39 other virtual enterprise firms from across Long Island and defended their business plan before a panel of judges. They spoke about their software plug0in that transforms tablets and laptops into educational learning tools. As a result of their presentation, Rocky Point’s Electrified Learning won third place in the business brochure competition.
Virtual Enterprise provides students the opportunity to create a business from the ground up. Students are able to test their ideas by selling their products to students from other Virtual Enterprise firms across the world.
