Sound Beach Man Had Sex With Underage Girl: Police
He's charged with third degree rape. Police say he met the girl through social media.
SOUND BEACH, NY – A 33-year-old Sound Beach man is accused of having sex with an underage girl who he established contact with via social media, Suffolk Police said.
Thomas Hinrichs is charged with third degree rape and third degree criminal sex act. He was arrested at his home on Babylon Drive Thursday afternoon.
Hinrich, who works as an usher for the Long Island Rail Road and earns $124,548 a year, will be held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
