Students Take Parents Back to School

Fourth grade students at Miller Place School District’s Laddie A. Decker Sound Beach School recently participated in Family Fun Night with their parents/guardians.

The parent-student teams competed in the popular game of Jeopardy, board games such as Scrabble, Uno, Connect Four and Guess Who; a scavenger hunt; parachute activities and a number of academic challenges, so parents could experience what their child is learning in class this school year. Students received commemorative pins for participating at the conclusion of the event.
