28-Year-Old Shot Dead At Red Hook Houses, Cops Say

Police found the man with gunshot wounds to his torso early Friday morning.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 28-year-old man was shot dead at the Red Hook Houses early Friday morning, according to police.

Cops were called to the front of a building near Columbia and Bush streets just after 3 a.m. to find the man with gunshot wounds to the torso, police said.

They took him to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There were no arrests as of Friday morning.

The homicide is at least the second fatal shooting at the Red Hook Houses in the last few months. 22-year-old Conrad Waterton was shot in the head at the housing complex in December.
