Brooklyn's Longest-Running Block Party Announces 2021 Return
The Atlantic Antic festival will come back to the corridor in October after a year off during the coronavirus crisis.

BROOKLYN, NY — Brooklyn's longest-running block party is on its way back to the borough, according to organizers.
The Atlantic Antic Festival, put on each year by the Atlantic Avenue LocalDevelopment Corporation, will return in October after taking a year off during the coronavirus crisis, the organization announced last week.
The "grand return" will bring a line up of performances, vendors and more to 10 blocks through Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn.

"In the past year and a half, businesses have experienced substantial economichardships. The hope with the Atlantic AnticTM is to provide a profitable experience, with new and returning customers rediscovering each small business," AALDC wrote in a press release.
The festival will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, rain or shine.

Vendors interested in selling their merchandise can find the 2021 Vendor Application here. Musicians or acts hoping to perform at the fair should email pr@atlanticave.org.
Past years have included everything from belly dancers, to R&B local musicians, to children’s dance performances and drumming.
Organizers said that the festival will include a number of coronavirus-related safety precautions that will be updated in the weeks leading up to the event. Those who are unvaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times and vendors and merchants will be encouraged to do so as well, according to the AALDC.
