Free Water Safety Classes This Week at the Prospect Park YMCA

The YMCA will be teaching kids, teens and adults how to swim and otherwise stay safe in the water.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — The Prospect Park YMCA is offering free water safety classes this week for adults, teens and kids who don't know how to swim.

Students will have a chance to get into the YMCA's pool, where they'll be taught techniques for how to stay afloat and get out of danger in a body of water.

(Those interested in taking the next step can also sign up for swim classes at the YMCA.)
