Green-Wood Cemetery To Host Film Screenings This Summer

Rooftop Films will kick off their opening night of their Summer Series with film screenings at Green-Wood Cemetery next month.

PARK SLOPE, NY — Brooklynites will be able to catch a flick this summer among famous New Yorkers like "Boss" Tweed, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Leonard Bernstein.

Rooftop Films plans to kick off their Summer series of screenings for the first time at Green-Wood Cemetery next month with a selection of short films, according to the group.

The opening night will have live music, an after-party and films from around the world "that express the power of new beginnings, highly entertaining films that tear apart tired old structures and display the creative potential of the cinematic form," Rooftop Films wrote on their website.
