'Holiday Village' Opens In Downtown Brooklyn
The market, run by Brookfield Properties, opened in MetroTech Commons this week.

DOWNTOWN, BROOKLYN — A new "Holiday Village" is up and running in Downtown Brooklyn.
Brookfield Properties opened its first-ever holiday market at the MetroTech Commons on Wednesday and will run it each weekend until Christmas, the real estate company announced this week.
The open-air market includes more than 25 vendorswith an emphasis on artisans, contemporary fashion, accessories, home goods, beauty products, jewelry, plants and artisanal distillers, according to the company.

It can be found in the center of the Commons, directly in front of the Christmas tree.
The holiday village joins several other markets in the borough where Brooklynites can do their holiday shopping this year. Prospect Park's Caribbean-themed market also opened this week at the LeFrak Center and a "Winter Wonderland" has been set up in Bed-Stuy's Marcy Plaza.

Hours:- Wednesday, Dec.2: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 3: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, Dec. 4 - Sunday, Dec. 6: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 10 - Sunday, Dec. 13: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 17 - Thursday, Dec. 24: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
