Lila Downs In Prospect Park: What You Need To Know Before Going

What you can and can't bring, ticket information and where to enter.

PROSPECT PARK, NY – Lila Downs will be playing at Prospect Park on June 29 as part of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. Like nearly all the concerts in the festival, this concert is free and open to the public.

What time is the show?

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30. The band Orkesta Mendoza will be opening for Lila Downs.

Lila Downs will be performing at the Prospect Park Bandshell, located on the west side of Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Concertgoers can enter the park at Ninth Street or 11th Street and Prospect Park West.

What can I bring?

Concertgoers are allowed to bring the following items:

  • Backpacks
  • Food
  • Personal non-glass water bottles
  • Blankets
  • Strollers
  • Umbrellas

Concertgoers are not allowed to bring the following items:

  • Alcohol (although beer and wine will be served at the festival)
  • Coolers
  • Pets
  • Tents
  • Professional cameras and video equipment
  • Recording devices
  • Cans and glass bottles
  • Cigarettes (smoking is prohibited at Prospect Park)
