New Childcare Center Planned For Union Street In Park Slope
The Union Street facility, set to open next week, will be the third Brooklyn location for KinderCare Learning Center.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A new childcare facility is on its way to Union Street.
KinderCare Learning Center will open its first Park Slope location next Tuesday, July 6, marking the third facility for the early childhood education and daycare company, they announced this week.
The new facility will open at 802 Union St. near Seventh Avenue and include space for up to 136 children ages six weeks to 3 years old, according to a release. It will be run by Center Director Lindsay Klass.

"Klass and the entire Park Slope KinderCare team can’t wait to create engaging experiences for children and families and safe, nurturing environments for all!" the company wrote. "Teachers look forward to bringing their unique experiences and diverse cultures and backgrounds to the center community."
Including the Park Slope site, KinderCare runs nine facilities in the New York City area.

In Brooklyn, they have a North Williamsburg center and also plan to open one in Cobble Hill.
The Park Slope location will include five classrooms dedicated to babies and programs in dance, theater, yoga, cooking and other specialties led by their staff. The staff includes teachers fluent in Spanish, Albanian, French and Italian and other languages, the company said.
