New Year's Baby Born Minutes Into 2019 At Park Slope Hospital

BROOKLYN, NY — Minutes after the ball dropped in Times Square, NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Park Slope welcomed its first newborn of 2019 into the world.

Parents Jonathon and Jennifer Bernstein, of Bensonhurst, welcomed Joseph Patrick Bernstein into the world at 12:44 a.m. Tuesday, the hospital said in a release.

Joseph weighed a cool seven pounds, three ounces and stands 20 inches tall.
