Parents: Park Slope Summer Camp Fair Set For Feb. 4
New York Family's Camp Fair is coming to Park Slope this weekend, but it has two other events planned as well.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — You're a forward-thinking parent, which means it's time to start figuring out what your kids are going to do this summer. To make that process easier, New York Family’s Camp Fair is coming to Park Slope on Saturday, Feb. 4. The fair will run from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Berkeley Carroll School, located at 181 Lincoln Pl.
According to organizers, the free event brings together "dozens of day camps (in and out of the city) and sleepaway camps (from all over the Northeast)."
"Most importantly," the event's website states, "the Camp Fairs offer families the unprecedented opportunity to speak with a big host of camp directors and get essential questions answered: What kinds of camps are right for my child? Should my child go to day camp in the city or out of the city? Is my child ready for sleepaway camp? Should we look at general camps or specialty camps?"

Additionally, when you register for the fair (you can do it online here), you'll be entered to win a summer family membership to the Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club, worth $8,500.
If you can't make Saturday's fair, two others are scheduled: the first is on Feb. 11 at BMCC in Tribeca (199 Chambers St.) and the second is on Feb. 12 at the Brooklyn Heights Montessori School (9 Bergen St.).
