Park Slope Area Grocers Hold Seniors Only Coronavirus Hours
A list compiled by state Assembly Member Jo Anne Simon's office gives older Park Slope-area residents places to safely shop during outbreak.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — At least nine Park Slope-area grocers are holding "seniors only" hours to help vulnerable older shoppers avoid exposure to the new coronavirus, according to an online list.
The list compiled by state Assembly Member Jo Anne Simon's office provides not only names the stores, but also gives their special seniors' hours and whether they do delivery.
Simon represents the 52nd Assembly District covering Park Slope, Gowanus, Carroll Gardens and downtown Brooklyn.
