Park Slope Pharmacies To Start Giving Coronavirus Vaccines
Three pharmacies in Park Slope are now offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments to those 65 and older.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Pharmacies in Park Slope are among more than 250 pharmacy locations across the city that are now administering COVID-19 vaccines to seniors.
Three neighborhood pharmacies are offering vaccination appointments to anyone 65 and older as part of a federal program.

- Walgreens/Duane Reade at 296 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, 11217
- Rite Aid Pharmacy at 249 7th Avenue, Brooklyn, 11215
- Walgreens/Duane Reade at 462 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, 11215
The Federal Retail Pharmacy Program will deliver 26,500 vaccine doses a week to Walgreens, Duane Reade, Costco and Rite Aid pharmacies across New York City, officials announced Thursday.
"Pharmacies are a trusted part of our infrastructure, particularly for seniors who rely on them for medications and other services," Dave Chokshi, the city's health commissioner, said in a statement. "These additional doses will be a lifeline for so many city residents."

Other vaccine sites are also open around Park Slope, including at city hospitals and medical clinics. Eligible New Yorkers can book vaccine appointments online at vaccinefinder.nyc.gov.
