Pop-Up Food Bank Coming To Barclays Center
Food for up to 500 families will be available Thursday at the Brooklyn venue, the first of five pop-up sites for Hunger Action Month.

BROOKLYN, NY — Hundreds of families can stop by the Barclays Center on Thursday to pick up food in the first of five pop-up food banks that will spread throughout the city this month.
The Food Bank For New York City announced Wednesday that the Brooklyn venue will be set up as a distribution center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10.
The site will kick off a series of pop-up distributions the organization is planning for Hunger Action Month.

It will include fresh produce and shelf-stable items for about 500 families.
Residents should come with a cart or large bags and be prepared for the weather, as it will take place rain or shine. All who visit must wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times.

There is no ID or registration required. NYC Census 2020 and voter registration will also be on-site.
