BROOKLYN, NY — As if a sign that warmer weather is on its way, a colorful rainbow extended across Brooklyn on Monday afternoon.

The colorful arch delighted Brooklynites from Grand Army Plaza all the way to Bensonhurst and Sunset Park, for some offering an uplifting sign that better times are ahead.

The rainbow, which appeared after a morning of wintry precipitation across the borough, will at least mark a move into warmer weather. Temperatures are expected to reach as high as 46 degrees this week, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.
