PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Two Park Slope watering holes got the stamp of approval for new liquor licenses, according to Community Board Six.

The new owners of the Park Slope Ale House, who also operate nearby seafood joint Littleneck, sought a new license to continue operating the longtime bar on Sixth Avenue.

There were no plans to expand sidewalk dining in their application, but the Ale House does have a front enclosed outdoor space.

Just a block away on Fifth Avenue, the Beer Garage also sought a new license to distribute drinks.

Owner Marina Charny, who also owns a next door restaurant called WILD, opened the cozy, automotive themed spot with a partner in 2020.

Charny is now looking to add a full bar in addition to their offerings of local craft beers and wine, which requires a new liquor permit.

At the final community board meeting of the year last week, both applications were approved.
