Props to Nina Ippolito, Vimeo user and witness to nature’s core evils, for capturing this harrowing scene at Prospect Park Lake over the weekend — and a hat tip to Gothamist for bringing it to the attention of the masses. We’ve contacted local swan watcher/wildlife rehabilitator Anne-Katrin Titze for more on what all this could mean for the humans and raccoons of the borough. Will update ASAP with answers.
